====== MATLAB installation ======

Please make sure you read [[software:matlab:start|this information]] first.

You can download current MATLAB installation media at [[http://software.physik.fu-berlin.de]]. You will need to log in using your ZEDAT Username and Password. MATLAB downloads will only be available if you are a member of a workgroup at the physics department.

The following screenshots were captured during an installation of MATLAB 2012a on MacOSX:

  * Make sure to select **Install without using the Internet**:

  * The ''File Installation Key'' will be different for every version of MATLAB. You'll get a working File Installation Key from the download page given above:

  * Select the ''license.lic'' file you downloaded from the download page:
