Using direct printing on Ricoh printers on unmanaged MacOS machine
Using the printer
Please note, that printing to FollowMe will only work if either:
- connected from a University Network
- connected from Eduroam
- connected with ZEDAT or ZEDV VPN
Installing the printer
Open a terminal and type the command:
$ cupsctl WebInterface=yes
In a web browser (e.g. Safari) open the address localhost:631.
… in work …
Now the selected printer is installed and can be used.
